What is Botox?

How quickly and for how long will I have results?
The first effects are usually visible after 3 to 5 days. The final result is usually visible after about 10 to 14 days. On average, the effect of a botox treatment lasts for 3 to 4 months, depending on the area treated and personal factors.
Is a Botox treatment painful?
Most clients experience only a slight sting, similar to a small injection. Because very thin needles are used, the treatment is generally well tolerated and quick to perform.
Are the punctures visible after treatment?
Immediately after treatment, small redness or slight swelling may occur at the injection sites. This is normal and usually disappears within a few hours to days. Any small bruising is rare and temporary.
What should I consider before and after treatment?
Before treatment, it is wise to limit alcohol consumption and blood-thinning drugs (if possible) to reduce the risk of bruising. After treatment, we recommend not massaging the treated area, not lying flat for the first few hours and temporarily avoiding intense exercise, sauna and tanning beds.
Is Botox treatment possible during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
As a precaution, botox treatment is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Although there is little evidence of risk, safety is always paramount and treatment is not performed during this period.
What is the difference between fillers and Botox?
Botox relaxes muscles to soften wrinkles caused by movement (such as frown lines). Fillers, on the other hand, add volume or restore contours to the face. Both treatments serve different purposes and can sometimes be combined for optimal results.
How does botox treatment for excessive sweating work?
